Face Painting Party in the Snow

In the middle of Winter 08, 1st week in July, traditional snow fall week, I decided to have a party for Reignar and under 10!

It was a face painting party outside, much to the dismay of some parents. Ben put up the tarp and we had lunch and then Amethyst and Emerald got the face paint out and each took their turn to be the creature of their choice. There were butterflies, tigers and spiders men.

The children didn't feel the cold until about the 3rd snowball....then hands got unbearably cold and all started to cry and were taken home to hot baths and hot chocolate.
