Colin died suddenly on 26/11/07. Steve travelled throughout the night to attempt to see his Dad before he died. As it happened he rang at 9.10pm near Tenterfield. His sister Jenny informed us his father had just died literally seconds before

The funeral provided a bitter sweet occasion for us to reconnect with many family members we would rarely see

Colin's funeral really highlighted how children are affected by their grandparents. After family consultation it was decided that the eldest of each family group would speak in behalf of the siblings.

Steve spoke for Louise and Jenny in remembering their father and the legacy he left his children..ie he BUILT THEM ALL A HOME

Joshua spoke on behalf of his siblings in remembering the memories of holidays our family spent visiting his grandparents in Dubbo

Prudence spoke on behalf of her siblings in remembering their family's ritual of visiting their grandparents each Saturday morning

Joel spoke on behalf of his siblings in remembering the affect Col had in their lives.
